Anthony Joshua has dropped the biggest hint yet that he will fight Deontay Wilder next by insisting he is out to collect all the belts.
The Brit already holds the WBA Super, IBF and WBO belts after unifying the titles against Joseph Parker, but is now aiming for the American’s WBC strap.
Public negotiations have dragged on for several weeks already, but Joshua has sent a message to his rival, revealing his intention is to add the WBC and become the undisputed champion.
“W.e’re B.elt C.ollecting,” Joshua wrote, capping up the initials of the final governing body left in his pursuit to reign supreme, adding a fire emoji.
Joshua posed alongside the three recognised world titles he owns, along with the IBO strap, next to his former trainer Sean Murphy.
Tyson Fury shows off incredible body transformation as former world heavyweight champion closes in on comeback.
The pair posed in the Finchley Boxing Club, where AJ began his journey to Olympic gold and world heavyweight titles.
Joshua recently attended the David Haye vs Tony Bellew rematch, supporting his The Bomber has he delivered a repeat of their first fight to stop The Hayemaker in the fifth round.
Bellew has maintained he would never fight AJ, insisting his friend is too big and powerful.
Should AJ not fight Wilder next, a mandatory defence against Russian Alexander Povetkin is the most likely outcome, though fellow Matchroom fighter Jarrell Miller could offer the chance to crack the US audience with a fight in Brooklyn.
