ANTHONY JOSHUA is going to sign up for an April 13 unification fight with Deontay Wilder to hopefully force him into the long-awaited showdown.
AJ defends his WBA belt against Alexander Povetkin at Wembley on September 22 and has booked the home of football out for a second fight in 2019.
And promoter Eddie Hearn hopes the Alabama brawler will agree to the fight once he sees AJ’s coveted signature on the contract.
Hearn told Sky Sports News. “I’m pretty confident
“I think at the moment he’s [Wilder] throwing his toys out of the pram, and eventually we hope he’ll come to his senses.
“I spoke to Anthony yesterday and I think what we’re going to do is all the terms that were agreed by Deontay Wilder have now been put into the contract.
