Badminton Players Relish 63 Days Tour In Indonesia

Four Nigerian badminton players are back in the country after spending 63 days in Indonesia for a training tour.

The tour, which was packaged by Badminton Federation of Nigeria, saw Anuoluwapo Opeyori, Godwin Olufua, Daniel Philips and Daniel Christopher learn new skills in Indonesia.

The players, who arrived Muritala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos on Thursday, thanked the facilitator, Adhi Narto, for making the trip possible, and expressed gratitude with the exposure and knowledge gained while in Indonesia.

They also lauded support from Cleanserve integrated Energy Solutions Limited and Alhaji Abdul Aliu for leading by examples with their investments in badminton.

Opeyori, who represents Lagos State, said his first task now will be to compete favourably amongst players in Africa as he prepares for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo,Japan.
