Chelsea of England winger, Victor Moses will still have three Nigerian-born youngsters among his colleagues in the London-based club, following the team’s top brass’ decision to keep Jordan Aina, Tariq Uwakwe and Faustino Anjorin in their youth squad.
Moses, though, will not have any Nigerian to hobnob with in Chelsea’s main team, as Ola Aina has been loaned to Torino of Italy, Kenneth Omeruo is set to join Leganes of Spain, while the duo of Tammy Abraham and Ike Ugbo are set to head out before August 31.
Aina is the 13th player loaned out by Chelsea in the summer transfer window, after the full back passed a routine medical on Monday.
Of the 29 players loaned out by the Blues so far, only one is of Nigerian descent, being England U21 star, Tomori, who has joined Derby County for the rest of the campaign.
Other Nigerian starlets being linked with a temporary departure from Chelsea before the window shuts at the end of this month are strikers Ugbo and Abraham.
However, Ola Aina’s younger sibling Jordan as well as Anjorin and Uwakwe are expected to stay put, as the three youngsters are important members of Chelsea’s youth teams.
