Written By: SD Reporter

Korea 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer, Macauley Chrisantus has snubbed an opportunity of joining Wisla Krakow of Poland, and opted for a deal instead at Greek Super League newcomers, Lamia.

Chrisantus has been on trial for ten days at Krakow , and set the stage for a grand deal with a hat-trick n his first trial game, but a decision on his signing was delayed by the former club of ex-Super Eagles star, Kalu Uche.

The former FC Abuja star was due to play in another ‎test game on Wednesday, but the 26-year-old striker unceremoniously left Poland for Greece, where he has penned a short term deal with Lamia.

It’s not the first time the forward who has played in Spain and Germany is having a stint in Greece, where he turned out for AEK Athens for 18 months before leaving for Reus of Spain.

Known for his goal scoring abilities, he will be hoping for a better time than last time out in Spain with Reus where he failed to score unlike at every other club he has played for.
