Changchun Yatai of China striker, Odion Jude Ighalo scored twice on Sunday, as his side beat visiting Guangzhou R and F FC in the Chinese Super League.
Ighalo, who has now scored in his last three league games for Changchun Yatai and six overall from 15 appearances so far, was first on target after Chugui Ye gave the lead to Guangzhou in the 21st minute, as the Nigerian star made it t 1-1 in the 55th minute.
Changchun had the chance to take the lead in the 71st minute but Szabolcs Huszti missed a penalty, only to make it 2-1 in the 79th minute, thanks to Zhenyu Du but Zhi Xiao equalized for Guangzhou on 84 minutes.
However, in the 89th minute, Ighalo scored what proved to be the winner and help Changchun move to ninth position on 22 points in the 16-team league table.
In Belgium, Henry Onyekuru was on song for RSC Anderlecht, as he made the best of his first game for the Brussels-based team in their 2-0 win over Lierse SK in a pre season friendly.
Onyekuru, who joined Anderlecht on a season loan deal from English Premier League side, Everton, was introduced as part of the second half substitutes of the Belgian side, and the forward showed why he is so highly rated in Belgium.
The forward, who scored 24 goals for modest side KAS Eupen last season, put the game beyond the reach of Lierse with the second goal for his team three minutes from full time.
