Manchester City of England youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho has denied reports that he has a rift with the club’s manager, Pep Guardiola.
The 20-year-old striker has battled for regular game-time under Guardiola – having played 15 English Premier League games – netting four goals in the process.
However, despite recently finding more time on the bench than action on the pitch, Iheanacho has stated that he has a good relationship with Guardiola.
Iheanacho, who is competing with Argentine Sergio Aguero, Spaniard Nolito and Brazilian Gabriel Jesus for a place in Guardiola’s starting line-up at City, said he will remain patient for playing time.
“I’ve got a good relationship with the manager – everyone here has a good relationship with him,” Iheanacho told Mirror.
“We are happy to have him here. He will take this club far, because he is a great manager. When you are not playing, you need to train harder. You need to keep faith.
“And when you come into the team, you have to do exactly what your team-mates are doing to help the team achieve something.”
