Nigerian basketball men’s senior national team, D’Tigers guard, IkIroegbu has joined German Bundesliga side, Science City Jenain a year’s deal.
The product of Washington State played his rookie season as a pro in G-League with Agua Caliente Clippers averaging 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
He becomes the second Washington State basketball player to join the German club, after WSU forward, Kyle Weaver signed with Science City in January.
The 23-year-old former Cougars star is a member of the 2017 AfroBasketsilver-winning team under D’Tigers coach, Alex Nwora.
He, however, missed out on the 2019 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers last month in Lagos due to his involvement in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Iroegbu has played in four Summer League games, averaging 9.8 minutes, 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds.
