Kanu’s Centre To Host Basketball Clinic

Former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu is set to venture into basketball promotions, as his sports centre in Aladinma area of Owerri, Imo State will host a five-day clinic on enhanced development of the game.

The clinic, which has been described as another part of Kanu’s efforts in support of sports development in Nigeria and giving back to the community, will hold in conjunction with Brooklyn Sports Centre.

Tagged “A 5-Day Biggest Basketball Clinic in Nigeria,” the project is expected to be graced by notable coaches, Daniel Poneman, Shea Frazer, Brandon Goble, Lucas Patterson, Daniel Gobl and David Fatoki among others.

The event, which is scheduled to hold from May 8 to 12, is billed for Kanu Sports Centre, Aladinma Owerri, behind Imo State University back gate.

Interested players, students, clubs, teams and groups willing to participate have been directed to collect registration forms at the venue on or before 7th of May.
