On loan Celtic defender has given his take on his man of the match performance for Hibs in their top of the table clash against Dundee United.
Ambrose joined promotion chasing Hibs on a 93 days emergency loan and has played in all of their three games since his arrival at the club, where he teamed up with his former boss at Celtic Neill Lennon.
Weekend’s clash against Dundee United was more like the second division title decider, and the Nigerian played a big role in helping his side beat their host 1-0.
Ambrose coped with almost everything thrown at him in the game which saw two red card apiece for both teams. His performances drew praises for him on social media.
Reacting to his showing, Ambrose thanked the fans of Hibs, and the coach for backing him before revealing that he is yet to reach his best level.
“I want to thank my coach and the fans of Hibs, they have been fantastic, there support makes it easy for one to cope with ease. It’s a good result for the team not just for me”, Ambrose told Owngoalnigeria.com.
“To be honest, I am yet to reach my best level because I have only played three games so far, this is just the start of something big for me and Hib.”
