Chelsea of England right-wing-back, Victor Moses has stated delight with his return to affinity with his teammates, as they get into the nitty-gritty of pre-season training.
Moses took to Twitter to express his emotions about his commencement of pre-season with his pals, having spent the start of the summer break recovering from surgery on a toe injury.
Moses revealed his delight after featuring in the first half of Chelsea 8-2 win against fellow-London-based Championship side, Fulham 8-2 in a pre-season friendly at Cobham on Saturday.
A hat-trick from Willian and a brace each from Michy Batshuayi and Loic Remy, coupled with a goal from Cesar Azpilicueta from the spot, sealed an emphatic win for The Blues.
Moses, who was impressive as a wing-back for the first time in his career all through last season, is expected to be included in the squad to depart on Tuesday for the tour of Asia, where Chelsea will face Arsenal at Beijing’s Bird’s Nest next Saturday.
After that, the Blues travel to Singapore for the International Champions Cup in which Bayern Munich and Inter Milan will also take part.
Antonio’s Conte’s team will kick off the competition against Bayern on July 25 and close it four days later against Inter Milan. Both Inter and Bayern Munich will meet in between on July 27.
Ahead of the trip, Moses is already relishing the start of pre-season drills, and tweeted: “Good to get back on the pitch with the lads. Pre-season well under way.”
