NATIONAL YOUTHS GAME: Ogun Handball Teams Open Camp

Team- Ogun Handball male and female sides have begun the second phase of their camping in preparation for the forthcoming National Youth Games slated for Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital in September, 2017.

The State Handball Association’s Secretary, Olalekan Sanusi in a statement, explains that the invited players and officials are already in camp, sweating it out at the Alake Sports Centre, Ijeja, Abeokuta, the state capital.

The camping according to the association is part of the team’s preparation for the game’s zonal elimination holding between August 17 and 20 at the Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to decide who qualifies for the team events at the game proper in Ilorin.

Ogun State is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that it secures the qualification to participate in the handball event of the game and sustain its top position among other states in Nigeria.
