Salisu Yusuf’s men are now in the west African nation ahead of Sunday’s African Nations Championship showdown on Sunday
Nigeria home based national team have arrived Cotonou ahead of Sunday’s 2018 African Nations Championship qualifier clash with Benin Republic on Friday afternoon.
Salisu Yusuf’s men had left their camp base in Kano in the morning via a flight to Lagos before travelling by road to Cotonou, where the encounter will take place.
Upon their arrival, the Super Eagles B secured accommodation at the Hotel Royal and they are later expected to continue their preparation for the 2018 CHAN qualifier on Sunday.
They will face the Squirrels in the first leg clash at the Stade de l’Amitié and the encounter will kick off at 4pm.
Meanwhile, Algerian referee Mustapha Ghorbal will be in charge of the match with his compatriots Mokrane Gourari Mohammed Serradj and Said Aquina.
