Rangers Unveils 17 New Players

Former Nigeria Professional Football League Champions, Enugu Ranges have unveiled 17 new players, in Enugu ahead of the 2017/2018 season.

The Seven time League Champions did the unveiling ceremony at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium on Thursday, as Coach Gbenga Ogunbote says he is satisfied with the recruited players and the ones he met at the club.

“I’m happy with the new players we have just unveiled. Together with the ones retained, we are going to make our supporters happy,” Ogunbote said.

The new players unveiled are Godwin Zaki from Abia Warriors, Jonathan Richard from Wikki Tourist, Solomon Okpako from Enyimba, Femi Thomas and Shedrach Francis from Rivers United, James Aiyeyemi from MFM FC, Abu Azeez and Ajani Ibrahim from Shooting Stars, Yusuf Ibrahim and Tayo Fabiyi from Nasarawa united, Ugonna Anyora from Assykiska FF Sweden, Chigozie Christopher from Lobi Stars, Salau Ibrahim from Shooting Stars, Semiu Liadi from Enyimba, Ogbuike Onyedika, Ayoegueke Chukwuemeka.

Enugu Rangers will travel to Uyo to face Akwa United in their league opener on Sunday.
