Rivers United have hired former Heartland coach Ndubuisi Nduka to assist Stanley Eguma for the new NPFL season.
Nduka has also had managerial spells at Plateau United and FC Taraba.
At Heartland, Nduka helped ‘The Naze Millionaires’ to retain the then Federation Cup which they won the previous year.
Nduka has replaced Willy Udube at ‘The Pride of Rivers’ after his (Udube’) contract was not renewed at the close of the season.
Coach Nduka confirmed his arrival at the 2015/2016 NPFL runners-up when scorenigeria.com.ng called him up on his mobile phone.
“Yes, I’m in Port Harcourt. I have held talks with Rivers United and we have reached a positive understanding,” he said.
“I’m happy to join the team.”
