Russia 2018: Amuneke, Ugbah Congratulates France

Former Flying eagles coach Emmanuel Amuneke and Nigeria Ambassador to the Russia Federation Prof Steve Davies Ugbah have congratulates France for winning the just ended FIFA World Cup.

In a brief chat with SportsDay at Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow after the final match between France and Croatia, Amuneke quickly congratulates France for their wonderful effort starting from the beginning of the tournament to the finals.

According to him, “Alot of people never believed that France will go this far in the tournament not to talk of winning it.

“i must say a big congratulations to them because they really proved the worth they are made of, producing the youngest player of the tournament and also second best of the tournament too” Amuneke said.

On the same view Ambassador Ugbah also hail the Franco-fone country for having made Africans proud despite coming out from the European union.

“As far as I am concern France is part of Africa because 99percent of the players playing in there national team all came from us. I must say I am very happy that they finally won it after many years,”

“Again I must congratulate the FIFA president Infantino and the President of Russia Government for a successful co- hosting.

“I believe African Countries must have leant there lessons. Early preparation is a key to success and I hope Qatar 2022, African Teams should be able to prepare well as well go far in the World Cup Tournament. Ugbah said.
