AA Gent of Belgium winger, Moses Simon was on song for his side in a pre-season game, but it was not enough to save the day, as they lost 2-3 against OGC Nice of France in front of a capacity crowd at Ghelamco Arena.

Gent opened scoring in the 13th minute but failed to hang on to their slim lead until the half time break as Nice super star Mario Balotelli levelled For the French side four minutes before the half time break.

Simon who started the game alongside his Nigerian club mate, Anderson Esiti proved why Gent are demanding £13m for his signature when he scored to bring scores to 2-2 six minutes after the hour mark.

Simon and Esiti were substituted with six minutes left to play in the game, and their substitution cost Gent as they conceded a late goal on the dot of regulation time which gave Nice victory.
