Viking of Norway hot in demand Nigerian striker Samuel Adegbenro will join Turkish side Bursaspor next week after a breakthrough in talks regarding his transfer.
According to Owngoalnigeria.com, Viking rejected Bursaspor’s bid of €1m for the forward, but the Turkish side have improved their bid to €1.5m according to sources in Norway and the new bid is said to be close to Viking’s valuation of the player.
The Norwegian team wants €2m but they could do business for a lesser sum if Bursaspor reach an agreement with them to cover up the balance of their demands using add-ons in the future.
” We are close to reaching an agreement as both teams are in talks. Hopefully we will agree on his transfer in one or two day’s time. Let me say he could be unveiled as a Bursaspor player on Monday, worst case early next week “, a source told Owngoalnigeria.com.
21 year old Adegbenro has been at Viking since 2015 when he joined them from the domestic league in Nigeria, and he has so far played over 66 league games for the team with 14 goals to his name.
