Nigerian pop music star, Wizkid has disclosed that he was highly thrilled being part of the ceremony at which the Super Eagles’ new jersey for this year’s World Cup was unveiled in London.
Wizkid was one of the non-football stars selected to model the new Nike kit at Wednesday’s ceremony, and the youthful musician has now stated how happy he was to be at the event, during which the fair-skinned singer donned jersey number 9, with his corporate brand, Starboy in the name tag.
Wizkid modelled for the new kit The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner alongside Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi at the unveiling which was organised by the Nigerian Football Federation in London on Wednesday.
The singer also took the timeout to officially announce his new partnership deal with the sports kit manufacturing company, Nike who jumped in on the release of his Starboy Jerseys.
The 27-year old singer took to his Instagram page to treat his 4.6 million followers to the picture of the new kit and as well sent his best wishes to the Eagles players at the World Cup.
