13 African Games: Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan wins 100m hurdles Gold

Nigeria’s track queen, Tobi Amusan, on Wednesday won the 100m hurdles gold at the ongoing African Games in Accra, Ghana.

Amusan won the race in a time of 12.89 seconds.

She now has a hat-trick of 100m hurdles African Games titles after winning the event at the last two editions in Congo Brazzaville 2015 and Rabat 2019.

Egypt currently dominates the medal ranking table of the ongoing All African Games in Ghana.

Behind the North Africans is Nigeria, which is in second place with 85 medals (31 gold, 22 silver, and 32 bronze).
