Chief executive officer of 1472 fc of Lagos, Segun Sanni, has said with genuine confidence, that 1472 fc will gain promotion to the NPL next season.
Sanni made this bold statement at the weekend during the unveiling ceremony of the club in Lagos.
“It’s going to be a tough season, but with the caliber of players in our fold and how very well prepared the management are for this task, I am very confident, we will be at the NPL come next season, by the grace of God” he said.
1472 fc will be making its debut appearance in the NNL this season.

The newly established club have adopted the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, as their home ground, but will be playing their home games at the onikan stadium for the main time due to construction works going on at the teslim balogun stadium.
The coach Otega Deniran’s led side will kick-start their NNL campaign against Dakkada on November 18.
1472 FC are in group A of the Southern Conference.
The new season will commence Saturday, November 11, 2023.
