Super Eagles Players React To Ugandan Draw

The Super Eagles took to their official social media account as they departed the country following their last game for Nigeria in 2018. Despite the draw against Uganda on Tuesday, the Delta State Government splashed $50,000 on the team. It was the first international game st the Stephen Keshi Stadium, named after late legendary skipper of the national team.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have reacted on social media as Nigeria played out a 0-0 draw with the Cranes of Uganda in an international friendly game at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba on Tuesday, November 20.

The Super Eagles were unable to end the year with a win in front of their home supporters at the Stephen Keshi Stadium as the Ugandan team proved difficult to break down.

The players had little to say about the game which was insignificant after they did their heroics against South Africa.

They took to their social media handles to express delight about getting the opportunity to represent the country.

Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong took to his official Instagram account to post a picture of him captaining the side in the encounter.

He said, “Thank you Asaba!”

Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu took to his official Instagram account t wish his teammates well as they travelled to their various clubs.

He said, “I L O V E T H E M A L L.. I wish you all a successful season and Injury free season. FAMILY”

Arsenal midfielder Alexander Iwobi on his Instagram account said, “Always An Honour”

Villareal forward Samuel Chuwkwueze who made his debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the encounter against the Cranes of Uganda posted a picture of himself partaking in the game with no caption but a series of emojis.
