Alalade Wants To Win WAFU U-20 Nations Cup

Enyimba of Aba winger, Wasiu Alalade has declared that his biggest desire for now is with the youth national team, Flying Eagles, which he wants to help and win the impending 2018 West African Football Union (WAFU) U-20 Cup of Nations.

Ahead of the competition, which begins this weekend in Lome, Togo, Alalade said his target is to help the Flying Eagles win the WAFU Cup.

He reckoned that, after the intense preparations and training put in by all the players and stiff competition for places in the squad to Togo, only the cup will justify all their efforts.

Alalade said: “I want to help Nigeria win this WAFU Cup in Lome. In fact, all the players want to make a statement for the country.

“We want to reward the coaches with a successful outing and to get consideration for places in the team to the U20 AFCON proper.”
