As congratulatory messages continue rolling towards the female national team, Super Falcons, the head of Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode has added her voice to the shower of praise.
Falode, who was Nigeria’s head of delegation to the 11th African Women Cup of Nations in Ghana, said the Falcons’ victory over South Africa was a confirmation on the players’ determination to succeed.
Though the executive committee member of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) felt uneasy all through Saturday’s final in Accra, Ghana, Falode put aside her anxiety to reel out sweet words for the nine time champions.
The ace broadcaster-turned-administrator said: “We always believe in the Super Falcons to get us a good result.
“They are not only strong mentally but physically. The girls are motivated, they are strong as individuals and as a unit.”
