First vice-president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi has shot his mind back to the Super Eagles’ outing at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and described it as bitter-sweet.

Akinwunmi said it was bitter in the sense of Nigeria failing to g beyond the group stage, but added that the sweet part is that the Eagles and NFF learnt many lessons in Russia.

The NFF mogul, who is also chairman of Lagos State Football Association, noted that the last ten minutes of Russia 2018 were a blip for the Eagles, but stressed that 2019 will be a better year for the country.
