Chelsea youngster, Jordan Aina has voiced his determination to fast pace his progress at Stamford Bridge, as he seeks an inroad into The Blues’ main squad before the season runs its full course.
Unlike the strides of his older brother, Ola Aina, Jordan has not found the going smooth at Chelsea, but he is now seeking a turnaround to the slow progress he is facing.
In his desire for an accelerated movement at the London club, Aina Jnr is eagerly looking forward to more action with The Blues’ under-23 squad, following his breakthrough into the team last month.
Although his under-23 team debut came in a 2-1 loss away to Leicester City, Aina sees it as a step up, after starring for the under-18 squad in a rush of games, following his maiden outing on November 3.
Aina debut for the Chelsea youth squad against Norwich City in the U18 English Premier League, but is now targeting a maiden professional role with Chelsea’s first team in the coming weeks.
The 17-year-old right-full back, who signed a scholarship after the past season, was promoted to the U18s a month after they win the league.
After growing through The Blues’ academy to sign up for the 2018/19 season, Aina stated with glee on social media: ”Happy to sign my first with @chelseafc very happy and proud, dream come true❤️ .'”
