Sunderland of England striker, Josh Maja has sensationally turned his attention on a possible January transfer deal in Germany.
After failing to get anything concrete in England, despite opting out of a contract extension with Sunderland, Maja is seriously thinking of a deal in the German Bundesliga.
The report out of Queensland states further that The Black Cats’ free-scoring striker is already making plans for a move to Germany later this month, and only a fatter package in England would make him stay.
The deal in Germany is reportedly bound to fetch Maja 20,000 pounds per week, which is four times his current wages at The Stadium of Light, and the former Super Eagles invitee is tempted to accept the offer.
That would mean opting out of potential openings at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City, who are all said to have made moves for Maja.
However, there is still the issue of health, as the 20-year-old striker was omitted from Sunderland’s squad that played out a 1-1 draw with Luton Town last weekend because of a stomach complaint.
