Oshoala Continues Week-long Charity In Lagos

New signing at FC Barcelona Femina of Spain, Asisat Oshoala is marking her Deadline Day deal with a week-long spray of gifts, goodies and needs to school children across Lagos State.

The reach-out venture, which is being executed through Assiat Oshoala Foundation began on Wednesday and will run till next week, with 50 schools expected to be reached.

Already, a long list of schools have already be touched in The Centre of Excellence, as the foundation continues it efforts to reduce the number of children who are out of school in the country.

With that target in view, the foundation has already donated sports and educational materials across the state.

The programme, which is in its fourth year, is part of Oshoala’s efforts at giving back to the society that produced her.

A press release about the project revealed that Oshoala has also been impacting on the lives of average school girls to be engaged through soccer, with her annual Lagos State Secondary Schools Football Clinic.

The statement added: “The first set of schools to get the donation are Epe Primary School in Epe, St Jude’s Primary School in Mushin, Aunt Ayo Primary School Ikoyi,  Sango and Keke Primary Schools in Agege.”
