Former Super Eagles attacker, Victor Obinna Nsofor (For Real) continues in his hope for a career revival, as he has now taken his efforts to Italian third division side, Potenza.
‘The Rave of The Moment,’ who failed to get a long-term stay at Cape Town City of South Africa last year, is not giving up his quest for resurgence, and Italy’s Serie C is his next port of call.
With a view to signing a deal, Nsofor, who has been inactive for a year, after his release by Cape Town City, commenced training on Tuesday with Potenza, who want to test his fitness before giving him a contract.
Nsofor, who has starred for Kwara United of Ilorin, Enyimba of Aba, Nacional of Brazil, West Ham United of England, Lokomotiv Moscow of Russia, Malaga of Spain, Duisburg of Germany as well as the Italian trio of Inter Milan, Chievo Verona and Regina, wants a year’s deal.
It means Nsofor may end getting a contract that will run till 2020 at the Italian third-tier side, as the once-fiery forward, who also had a stint at SV Darmstadt of Germany may just aim for a stepping stone at Potenza.
