Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia striker, Ahmed Musa has sent a message of profound felicitation to President Muhammadu Buhari, following his re-election as Nigeria’s number one citizen.
While tagging Buhari as his own personal president, Musa congratulated the Daura-born former military head of state for becoming only the second Nigerian leader to win back-to-back terms in office at Aso Villa, Abuja.
Musa was one of the earliest Nigerian sports stars to hail Buhari, after the 76-year-old proven soccer lover was Wednesday morning declared by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the winner of last Saturday’s presidential polls.
Buhari who contested on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 15,191,847 votes while former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 11,262,978 votes.
In his reaction, Musa took to social media to celebrate with Buhari, even raising four fingers in the re-elected president’s now popular symbol of 4+4 for his second term at Aso Villa, Abuja.
Musa added a catchy captain to host photographs, as he grinned from ear-to-ear: “Congratulations to my president Muhammadu Buhari.
