Nigeria’s sole representative at the CAF Confederation Cup, Rangers International FC has shown there readiness in battling Etoil DU Sahel in a match day 4 of the obging CAF Confederation Cup slated for Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu on Sunday.
arrived the country yesterday from Tunisia where they were beaten 2-1 by Etoile Sportive du SAHEL in Matchday 3 of the competition,
Rangers FC were defeated 2-1 and that was there first loss in the competition but the team is optimistic of turning around the result in Enugu this weekend.
In a brief chat with CAFONLINE.COM Rangers International defender Loute Isaac said“ what happened in Sousse is now in the past I am looking at the next game against Etoil Du Sahel on Sunday.
“I believe we can do better against our opponent. Infact it is a must win game for us, if we want to continue representing this country in the Continent,”
“We have good legs in the team and also wonderful management who kept on motivating us than any other thing. We want to break the jinx of the continental assignment and with God on our side we will do it”.
“Our current position on the league table means nothing to us because we so still have games to play and we are not doing badly if you ask me. So there is hope.”
The management of Rangers FC also called on their supporters to come out in number to support the team as they face their opponent on Sunday.
Meanwhile they currently occupy 3rd position in Group B of the competition with 4 points from three matches.
The Flying Antelopes welcome the Tunisians to Enugu on Sunday, 3 March, a week after losing 3-1 to the same team in North Africa.
