John Ogu Compiles Video Of 18 Goals For Hapoel

Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel midfielder, John Ugochukwu Ogu has come out with a special personal compilation of all 18 goals he has scored since joining the Israeli Premier League club in 2014.

Ogu, who has starred over the years with Akwa Starlet, Akwa United, Flying Sport Academy, Drava Ptuj, Atlético CP, Almería, Uniao de Leiria and Académica de Coimbra, is happy with the strides he has achieved at Be’ewr Sheva.

Aside his days at Drava Ptuj in Slovenia, where he scored eight goals in all, ‘Suker’ is thrilled that he has hit top marks at his present base, where his record had already soared to 13 goals in the past season.

This season has seen him add five more goals to his haul and, while still counting, the towering left-footer is already celebrating what he has achieved so far, as he reeled out a video catalog on social media.

While revealing his breathtaking haul at club level, the Super Eagles star, who also scored a screamer for Nigeria in the last Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier away to Algeria, added a tag: “All 18 Goals scored in HBS.”

Iwobi Must Stay Calm, Keep Improving – Emery

Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi has received fresh success tips from the club’s coach, Unai Emery, who believes the Super Eagles star needs to keep improving and always stay calm in front of goal.

On the backdrop of rave reviews trailing Iwobi’s performance against Bournemouth in midweek and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, Emery admitted he is happy to see the youngster staying consistent, but says he must work harder.

Iwobi has made 25 appearances in the English Premier League so far this season, scoring three goals in the process, but Emery stressed that The Gunners’ former under-21 team captain can do more.

Emery advised: “Iwobi can open space on the overlap for them. So I think Iwobi is giving a lot for us.

“We want to play and we want to create our philosophy and I think that Iwobi is important, but he needs to carry on improving.

“For us, we have to be demanding with him and himself be demanding to improve the things that he can get better at in his qualities.

“When he’s getting into the attacking third, into the box, to be calm to decide the last action with assists and scoring more.”
