Fernebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses is putting heat on yet another former England-based player in his team, as Islam Slimani is under pressure to emulate the former Super ERagles star.
So soon after Moses was reported in line to take over from Ghana’s Andre Ayew as Fernebahce’s top striker, he is also edging out Slimani, who is on loan from Leicester City.
While the Algeria striker is struggling at Ferbnebahce, where he hoped that he would be able to resurrect his career on loan in the Super Lig, Moses has stepped into take the shine under his nose.
The instant success Moses is enjoying at Fenerbahce, has left the club singing his praises and they are unhappy with Slimani’s impact on the team, for which he has scored once and played one of past seven games.
With Moses now the new poride at The Yellow Canaries, they have told 30-year-old Slimani that he is not a valued member of the team and they want him to find another club.
