Fernebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses has come out with a daring declaration that his side must end the Turkish Super Lig season on a high, as he wants to follow up their last victory with another.
Moses was ecstatic in hitting home his side’s only goal, as the 28-year-old former Super Eagles star helped his side eke out a 1-0 win away to Erzurum BB at Kazim Karabekir Stadyumu, and hopes to make hay again on the last weekend of the Lig season.
Moses, who is on loan from Chelsea of England, converted a 59th minute penalty, after going as a substitute in the first half, thereby making it three goals in 13 appearances since arriving in January.
With Monday’s game now behind The Yellow Canaries, Moses is looking for their next fixture this week for another round of three maximum points that would consolidate Fenerbahce’s position.
Heading into their final match of the season at home with Antalyaspor on Saturday, Fernebahce are placed eighth on the log with 43 points from 33 matches, but Moses believes they can climb higher.
He took to social media to reveal his thoughts and plans ahead of the final day of the season, with a verdict that Ferne can finish strong.
Moses posted: “Good to get the win 100. One game left now, let’s make sure we finish strong.”
