Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministry (MFM) FC of Lagos winger, Jonathan Zikiye has added his words to lamentations over the death of Lobi Stars of Makurdi coach, Solomon Ogbeide, as he says the tactician was a great man and a good handler he was privileged to play under.
Zikiye recalls how he got his big breakthrough in the Nigerian league scene under Ogbeide at Bayelsa United of Yenegoa, and the left-footed wonder, who netted a winning goal for MFM on Monday, says he will never forget the late veteran coach.
The former Kano Pillars dazzler, who grew up in Ojo area of Lagos State, added his regrets over the death of Ogbeide on the same day he scored his breathtaking goal for The Olukoya Boys, with a word of cheer to the late coach’s family and close associates.
While also stating his condolences to Lobi Stars, fans of the club and all the players, Zikiye prayed that God will give them all the grace to beat the loss, while stating further on social media that Ogbeide will rest in peace in the bosom of the Lord.
Zikiye stated: “My condolence to the entire @LobiStars @Unik_LobiFans family and ogbeide family. may God give you the heart to bear this great loss. rest on great one.”
