Nigeria’s female national team, Super Falcons have received another boost in their efforts to do well at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup, as the squad’s jersey has been cited among 14 going to the competition with designs from American sports kit manufacturers, Nike.
While some of the models on display stand hidden in a batch lined-up by Nike to showcase their products for the upcoming Female Mundial in France, the Falcons’ jersey is found prominently arrayed third from left.
It means Nigeria’s jersey is rated high in Nike’s spotlight, especially as memory is still agog with how the same American company produced the attractive eye-catching kit that were launched by the Super Eagles during the male version of the FIFA World Cup.
The Falcons would be thrilled to learn that Nike did not stop at just showcasing the Nigerian kit and others, but the firm went on to add symbolic words urging the teams to believe and go for glory.
Such is the aura ignited by Nike on social media, with a message laced full of wise words and an invitation to the Falcons (and the 13 others) to dream of doing something big at France 2019.
The kit manufacturers stated on their verified handle @nikefootball: “A dream can do anything and change everything. Share yours with the world. Just do it.”
