Super Eagles and Shanghai Shenhua striker Odion Ighalo has said that moving to china has made alot of impact in his football career and his personal life.
He told SportDay recently that “ I still have two more years to finish my contract with Shanghai Shenhua before thinking of leaving but right now I have keep doing my best until then,” he said.
Speaking on the AFCON preparations, Ighalo maintained that Super Eagles has prepared very well to excel in the tournament.
“We have prepared very well for the AFCON. Alot of friendly matches have been played and I must say we are ready to go,”
“Every team going to AFCON is strong including Super Eagles. The challenge will be a tough one for every participating teams. Burundi and Madagascar are coming for the first time and they will like to give every match a serious fight.
“Every player that made the final list worth it both the young and old lads. The most important thing is that we are going into the tournament with every determination.
“Our test match against Zimbabwe was a good one because Zimbabwe are going to AFCON as well, although it wasn’t that easy but does not mean they are too strong”.
It is a build up game for us but I think we all did our best all the rain really affected us but the good thing is that we are going to Egypt with every seriousness to make sure we return with glory,” Odion Ighalo said.
He however urge the fans to keep supporting the team, assuring them total victory at the end of the competition.
“We need our fans to do well in Egypt. Without them I don’t think football will what it is today so we need every support from them”. He added.
