Fernebahce of Turkey coach, Ersun Yanal has declared that the Turkish Super Lig outfit will do everything necessary to ensure they keep former Super Eaglers winger, Victor Moses beyond the currnet summer transfer window, in order to enjoy more of his services next season.
Amidst strong hints that Moses could join his former coach from Chelsea of England, Antonio Conte at Inter Milan of Italy later this month, Yanal stressed that Fernebahce still need the lad they first got on loan from The Blues last season and says they will do everything to keep him.
With that in mind, Yanal stated emphatically that The Yellow Canaries will do everything that needs being done in order to keep the crafty winger, who has previously played on loan at Liverpool, Stopke City and West Ham United, after joining Cheslea from Wigan Athletic.
The product of Crystal Palsce went on to revive his career at Stamford Bridge under Conte, only to lose out again with the Italian’s exit and the arrival of his compatriot, Mauricio Sarri, but the player’s resurgence in form is now making Yanal keen on keeping him.
The odds are now daunting for Moses, who got four goals in 16 games for Fenerbahce last season, as he could stay put, move to rejoin Conte at Inter or return to Chelsea and make the best of Sarri’s exit to Juventus.
Although Chelsea can also exercise a recall option on Moses to end his loan spell before expiration of their one-and-a-half-year loan deal, which began in the January transfer window, Yanal has already held talks with Fernebahce’s director of football, Damien Comolli to retain the winger.
Yanal told Turkish newspaper, Hurriyet: ”Moses is a very high quality player. I believe he will be much more useful next season. What should be done to stay must be done.”
