Inter Milan have finally completed the signing of Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian striker has signed a five-year contract at the San Siro, and will join the Italian giants in a deal worth £73m.
A all summer, and speculation over his future, as well as a row over his posting of confidential training data on social media, have led to a complete breakdown in his relationship with United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 26-year-old became desperate to leave after being told he would not be first choice at Old Trafford this season, and failed to report to United’s Carrington base this week, instead training in Belgium with former club Anderlecht.
Lukaku joined United in a £75m move from Everton in the summer of 2017, when Jose Mourinho was in the Old Trafford dugout.
Last season, he scored 15 goals in 45 appearances, enjoying a purple patch after Solskjaer replaced Mourinho.
