A fast-rising striker from lower division club, Metropolitan FC, Chisom Iwuanoruo has been rated a high-potential signing for top clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) this year, as he contuinues waxing strong in action with his ambitious club.
After making a huge impact with Metropolitan in the quarter-finals of Lagos State Federation Cup earlier this year, Iwuanoruo’s coach at Glory Football Academy, Shola Babatunde affirmed that the youngsgter is on a fast rise into the NPFL and subsequently Europe.
As part of the process of further developinfg Iwuanoruo’s talent, Coach Babatunde disclosed further that he sent to lad on loan to Metropolitan FC, where he scored three goals during two matches in the Nationwide Amature League Division 2, and continues attracting attention of scouts.
The man fondly called ‘Coach Shola’ further stated: “Chisom Iwuanoruo is a 16-year-old boy. He was born in 4 April 2003 and he plays for Glory FA Yaba, on loan to Metropolitan FC.
“Chisom is also a very good striker, with great potentials, and can ride on higher with his talent to play in the top league anywhere in the world.
“He is certainly a player to watch for any Nigerian Professional Football League club and also the national team, starting with Golden Eaglets.”
