Nwakali’s Deal Is Difficult For Huesca – CEO

Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup-winning captain, Kelechi Nwakali will have to step up his prayers, in his aspirations to seal a summer transfer to SD Huesca of Spain, as the Liga club’s chief executive officer, Manolo Torres has confessed that it is a difficult deal for his team.

Although Torres confirmed that Huesca are holding talks with Nwakali’s parent club, Arsenal of England, over the possibility of signing the 21-year-old rising star, who has played 80 professional games, with eight goals and six assists to show during various loan deals outside Emirates Stadium, the Spanish club’s CEO admits the talks are dragging.

While Nwakali, who toiled on loan at FC Porto of Portugal last season, wants a new deal outside England, because he has not been granted a work permit by The British Home Office since his arrival at Arsenal in 2016, Huesca are finding the going tough in hooking his signature.

The Huesca CEO, though, assured that his club will keep pushing hard in order to sign on Nwakali, who has also previously played on loan with the duo of MVV Maastricht and VVV Venlo of Holland.

Torres told Deportes COPE: ”Nwakali is difficult, like all operations. It is true that it has been reactivated but it is difficult to sign players from its entity.

”Putting purchase options on players obeys a strategy of sports management. The summer began difficult and has been improving little by little.

”Arrivals are imminent. I cannot say if it will be today or tomorrow, but they will be imminent.”
