Oteh Declares Big Ambition For Bradford City

Bradford City of England new arrival, Aramide Oteh has pledged to give his very best at his latest port of call, as he wants to justify his summer loan deal that takes him from Queens Park Rangers, where the 21-year-old Nigerian-born striker said he wants to excel more than ever.

Aramide gave a hint about his ambitions after QPR confirmed the exit of Oteh to the English League Two side on a season-long spell, with a view towards further football development for the youngster, who featured all through last season for another lower division side, Walsall.

The fast-rising attacker, who has scored twice in 11 appearances for QPR, will quickly hope to hit the ground running at his new base, as he has been tipped to get his debut for the League Two side in Saturday’s home game against Northampton.

Oteh, who turns 21 this week, is well down the pecking order of strikers at Rangers, hence the club’s decision to give him another loan move, after spending the second half of last season in a similar deal at Walsall, where he made four starts and scored once in 13 league appearances.

The youngster, who featured for The R’s in pre-season, has found game time difficult to come by in Gary Bowyer’s side, following the arrivals of Jordan Hugill, Nahki Wells and Jan Mlakar as QPR’s loan signings, but Oteh says he will make the best of his opportunities with Bradford.

Oteh told bradfordcityfc.co.uk: “When my opportunity comes, I want to take it and really make my mark as a Bradford player. Competition for places is something I have faced for a number of years and it drives me on.”
