Following Enyimba International FC recent poor performance so far in both Domestic league and CAF Confederation Cup, another strong United State based football administrator Emmanuel Shanga has once again blamed it on lack of motivation from those in charge of the team.
Shanga who was part of Rangers International in the early 90’s and now a super agent in the football business disclosed that Enyimba FC lost its glory in the continent when former governor Orji Uzor Kalu left the government 12years ago.
Speaking with sportsdayonline.com recently, Emanuel Shanga maintained,” Only when motivation returns to our football that is when Enyimba will return back to its feet.
“Though it has not been easy in the country recently but for a team that is representing the country in the continent to do well they have to be motivated very well.
“Watching their matches against Algeria and Libya really made me cry because starting from their warm up kits to individual attitude you will agree with me that Enyimba need to be overhaul before its late.
“Apart from the state Government handling the logistic of the club, cooperate bodies should be giving chances to come in too. Aba has the biggest investors as far as Nigeria business market is concern. Enyimba can generate enough fund to motivate the players to the highest level except if there is something happening behind the scene,” Emmanuel Shanga explained.
