Following 1-0 win against Enyimba International FC in a rescheduled week 11 of the NPFL match, Rivers United Coach Stanley Eguma hailed the presence of Ifeanyi Anemena and Theophilus Afelokhai, saying both motivated the players in today’s game.

Rivers defeated Enyimba FC in week 11 rescheduled match played at Adokie Amesiemeka stadium on Sunday.

Speaking after the game, Eguma maintained that,” The presence of Anemena and Afelokhai in the really motivated the players. In fact both really boast the moral of other player so i am happy for their return.

talking about the match Eguma stressed,”It was not an easy game for us knowing too well that Enyimba is not push over team but the most important thing for us is the three points which we got today.

“Winning against Enyimba has made me believe we are ready for the second round. i can beat my chest today that my team is now ready to kick off the second round of the league.
