Super Eagles and Enyimba International workaholic forward Anayo Iwuala has stated that his dream is to play in the CAF Confederation Cup finals with Aba Elephant as set to leave for the Northern African nation ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup quarter final first leg tie scheduled for Air Defence Stadium (al-Qāhirah (Cairo)), on Sunday.
The new boy on the block disclosed that team is in high spirits and are willing to put everything on the line to ensure that they secure the first leg result away from home, which will be sufficient for their qualification to the next round of the tournament.
According to him, “The only thing on mind right now is to qualify my team to the finals of CAF Confederation Cup. i am ot thinking of any European signing or anything but CAF game this weekend.
“As you can see we are going to Egypt to get a point that is all that matters to us and we are very hopeful of a good result.”
“We hope to make good of our chances. not to leave anything behind we are battle ready to atleast score away, protect our first leg advantage, and we will crown it in return leg in Aba,”
When asked about his feeling so far on his transfer saga between Enyimba and Gents, Iwuala maintained that,” Enyimba wants the best for me besides i do not know anything happening at the moment all i am concentrating right no is the task ahead me which CAF CC. when ever i am called upon to sign i will be very happy and willingly to make a loud and sound statement,” Anayo Iwuala told sportsDayonline.com
