2022 World Cup: Like Nigeria, Egypt fail to qualify for Qatar

Egypt on Tuesday failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after losing to Senegal.

Egypt’s defeat is coming few minutes after Ghana defeated Nigeria on away goals rule to qualify for the World Cup.

Egypt had won 1-0 in the first leg last week.

However, the match ended in a 1-1 aggregate and Senegal defeated Egypt 3-1 on penalty shootout.
