2022 World Cup: Sunday Oliseh Arrives In Qatar

Even though Nigeria’s Super Eagles will not be playing in Qatar, a Nigerian will still be working behind the scene during the competition.

The World soccer governing body a few months ago listed Super Eagles legend and coach Sunday Oliseh as part of a 6-man technical expert that will work in Qatar.

Barely 24 hours before the kick-off of the competition Oliseh who is based in Belgium arrived in Qatar to commence his assignment for the competition.

The former Juventus of Italy midfielder will work alongside Alberto Zaccheroni, Cha, Mondragon, Jurgen Klinsmann and former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who will serve as the head of the committee.

The 2022 World Cup will kick off on Sunday with the host Qatar facing Ecuador in the opening game.
