Time Was Short to invite Home Base Player —-Austine Eguaveon

The interim coach of the Super Eagles Austine Eguaveon has blamed the late kick off of the ongoing domestic league as the cause of none inclusion of home based players to AFCON preparations.

Eguaveon said this during a media  brief in Abuja today that “The time was very short to invite home -based players to be part of AFCON preparations.

“The league started very late and also the issue of the provisional list.  i wanted to have 6 of them in the team but the timing was so short. Eguaveon explained.
