Super Eagles have arrived in Nigeria from Bissau after taking a sweet revenge on the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau.
In a 1 minute 11 seconds video posted by the Super Eagles Media Officer, Babafemi Raji, the players and officials led by the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Sanusi Mohammed were seeing alighting from a chartered Air Peace flight at 2:15 am with all the players on board.
The Super Eagles players will from today book their flight back to their different clubs in Europe.
The three times African champions last Friday lost 0-1 to the Guineans at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja but they were able to take a pound of flesh three days later with a resounding 1-0 win to reclaim the top of the group A table with 9 points in four games. Guinea Bissau are second with 7 points while Sierra Leone, Eagles next opponents have 5 points. Sao Tome and Principe have 1 point from 4 games.

Moses Simon 30 minutes penalty gave the visitors the edge very the home team. With the win, Super Eagles are back on top of the table with nine points while second placed Guinea Bissau have 7 points. Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe have 5 and 1 points (from four games) respectively.
The top two teams from group A will qualify for the 2024 African Nations Cup to be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.
