2023 WWC: Confident Super Falcons in good spirit ahead Australia clash – Waldrum

Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum has hinted that the team is in good spirits ahead of their second Group B clash against Australia.

The former African champions are in positive mood following Friday’s 0-0 draw against Olympic champions Canada.

Waldrum’s side arrived Brisbane on Saturday and have set their sights on clash against the Matildas.

The American stated that there is great vibes in the Super Falcons camp heading into the game billed for the Brisbane Stadium on Thursday.

“Well, I think it’s good,” Waldrum revealed in a short video posted on the Super Falcons Twitter handle.

“Yesterday, on game day plus one we just did recovery training for those players that played a lot of minutes.

“Got some yoga, got some recovery training, got them in the pool, the hot and cold tub and gave them a little bit of a break in the afternoon to go shopping and sight seeing around the hotel.”
